The development of effective, safe mineral supplements has been the principal means to prevent and treat calcium, iron and other minerals deficiency. Functional peptides are natural protein hydrolysates and the body's absorption and utilization rate for short-peptide are high and less saturated. By means of enzymatic hydrolysis, functional peptides subject to chelate calcium, iron and other mineral elements are selected and purified. It is a research hotspot to develop new mineral supplements with higher absorption and utilization rate and stronger physiological effects at home and abroad.
This work has become another important research direction in our center.
